Kindergarten Round-Up

My belly was full of butterflies but it was just another day for my boy. It was the official East Olympia Elementary Kindergarten Round-Up, an event to see the school, meet the teachers and principles, receive details of the curriculum and my official notice that my first born is entering school.

"We played number games, told the high school girls our names (the helpers), ate cookies. We rode on a bus and the driver was Shaun's dad. He held his two fingers up and that means be quiet and listen so we don't crash into a train. I sat by Kessa. There was fishs in one classroom and hamsters in the other room. I'm excited to go to school" ~ Drew, age 4
